Northern Brewer has come through yet again.

Wyeast Sweet Mead and Cider yeasts have arrived.  I need to find a source for some good unpasteurized apple cider.  Anyone?  Bueller?  I have 15 pounds of honey and all the necessary additives to make them both (a couple pounds of the honey are destined for the cider) this weekend…just need to find [...]]]>

Northern Brewer has come through yet again.

Wyeast Sweet Mead and Cider yeasts have arrived.  I need to find a source for some good unpasteurized apple cider.  Anyone?  Bueller?  I have 15 pounds of honey and all the necessary additives to make them both (a couple pounds of the honey are destined for the cider) this weekend…just need to find some cider to marry up with it.  Both of those batches are going to ferment a couple months, so look for them during the height of Summer.

Ingredients for our new Double IPA also showed up…like 6 or 7 ounces of hops in a 5 gallon batch.  I’ll probably be brewing Sunday, so if you are curious and want to see how it works…swing by.
