All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent. — Thomas Jefferson

The Brewery

MJ and Rob produce some of the finest ales, porters, and stouts in St. Peters.

At present, they have four six-gallon (primary), two five-gallon (secondary), and two three-gallon (specialty) fermenters.

Ready to drink today:

  • 2008 Christmas Beer – 7.9% ABV – not many left.
  • Double Dry India Pale Ale – 9.5% ABV – may be dead, just a few left.
  • Breakfast of Champions Oatmeal Stout – 7.1% ABV
  • Honey Blackberry LSA (Leg Spreading Ale) – 6.7% ABV
  • Trippel Dubbel Coupon Ale (drinkable sometime in July?) – 10/3% ABV
  • Unnamed Porter (due 4/15/09) – 8.0% ABV

Secondary Fermentation:

  • Maibock, Maibock Not (due 5/1/09) – 8.8% ABV
  • More Nothing Special Pale Ale (due as soon as we have bottles) – 6.3% ABV
  • Saison’s Greetings (Raspberry Saison, due 5/1/09) – 6.3% ABV

Preparing to brew:

  • The Next India Pale Ale (due 30-45 days after brewing in April?)
  • Granny Smith’s Pucker (Fermented Apple Cider, due 3-5 months after brewing in April?)
  • Mead me at Midnight (Fermented Honey, due 4-6 months after brewing in April?)

As always, if you bring us six 22 ounce (or larger) brown pop-top bottles, you go home with some fresh beer of your choosing.  We need a few green and/or clear bottles, so those are welcome until the Mead and Cider are bottled.
